Legal guarantee

The legal guarantee applies to all items that you purchase from us. This means that an item must be in good condition and function properly under normal use. When you receive an item where this is not the case, Clean Air Optima will provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible. Depending on the item, we do this through replacement, repair or refund.

In addition to the statutory warranty, the manufacturer's warranty applies to certain items. A manufacturer's warranty is an additional warranty that is given by the importer or manufacturer. The manufacturer or importer can set conditions to this warranty. More information about the term and content of this manufacturer's warranty can be found - if applicable - in the instructions for use of the product.

Warranty term

Customer satisfaction is our starting point and you may assume that items ordered from Clean Air Optima are high-quality products. That is why we use a warranty period of at least two years, depending on the product.

Clean Air Optima follows the law and the general conditions of the Dutch Home Shopping Organization when handling complaints. The warranty schemes shown below apply without prejudice to the rights you have as a consumer under the law. A legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it.

Registering a defective item

If an item is defective, you can report this via our return form. After sending the contact request, you will receive further instructions by e-mail.

Item defective after the warranty period

Even after the warranty period has expired, you can contact Clean Air Optima with a justified complaint. If there are costs associated with the repair, we will inform you of this in advance using a repair proposal.

If repair is not possible, you will receive a quote for replacement of the defective device.

Exclusion of warranty

It is important that a product is properly maintained, the necessary instructions for this can be found in the manual. If a product becomes defective due to incorrect use or because it is poorly maintained, this damage is not covered by the warranty. Some examples

• Products with moisture or water damage.
• Products with a broken display/casing.
• Products that have not been sufficiently maintained for cleaning and/or filters that have not been replaced in time.
• Products damaged as a result of poor packaging during transport to Clean Air Optima.

If the item is excluded from warranty, this will be communicated by customer service..

Submit a complaint

If you have a complaint about our products or our service, you can contact our customer service. This can be done via the contact form or via [email protected]. You will receive a substantive response within 5 working days at the latest.

If you are not satisfied with the handling of the complaint. Then you can submit it to the Home Shopping Disputes Committee, Mailbox 90600, 2509 LP The Hague (www.sgc.nl).

You can also submit your complaint to the Disputes Committee via the European ODR Platform.
