PTC system: Positive Temperature Coefficient heating element
This Clean Air Optima® CA-904B PTC fan heater has an up-to-date “Positive Temperature Coefficient” (PTC) heating element consisting of ??special large aluminium fins that provide better conduction than standard heating systems. The PTC heating element can adjust the heat output, thereby consuming less power and providing energy-saving, quiet and consistent heat in the space. This rapidly creates a pleasant temperature in the furthest corners of the room!
Thermostatically controlled temperature between 15°C and 35°C
With the adjustable thermostat the Clean Air Optima® CA-904B Design PTC fan heater reacts to the room temperature. The heater stops heating once the pre-set temperature has been reached. The heating switches on again automatically if the temperature falls by a few degrees.
80° horizontal oscillation
The switch-operated 80° horizontal oscillation on the Clean Air Optima® CA-904B Design PTC fan heater ensures effective and even distribution of heating and cooling, even in the furthest corners of the space!
Simple operation with digital display
The clearly set out digital control panel on the top of the CA-904B Design fan heater features six touch keys for easy selection of the desired settings. In addition, the fan heater is also equipped with a remote control.

Usage and maintenance
Cleaning
First use: Please refer to the comprehensive instructions in your manual before first use.
Cleaning the outside of the fan heater:
1. Switch the unit off and pull the plug out of the socket.
2. Make sure the heater has cooled down before carrying out cleaning or maintenance.
3. Use a soft damp cloth to remove dust and dirt from the unit.
4. Make sure no water gets into the unit.
Cleaning the dust filter:
The permanent metal dust filter is located on the side of the fan heater. For optimum effect, this permanent dust filter in the Clean Air Optima® CA-904B Design PTC fan heater can be cleaned at monthly intervals with a soft brush or your vacuum cleaner.
1. Switch the unit off, pull the plug out of the socket and leave the unit to cool down completely.
2. Press both unlock buttons and take the dust filter out of the unit.
3. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust filter and a soft damp cloth to clean the fan heater housing for the dust filter: then dry carefully.
4. Replace the dust filter, pushing it in carefully until you hear a click.
To avoid damaging the unit and the PTC heating elements do not use harsh cleaning products to clean the surface.
Keep the fan heater in a dry, well-ventilated place.

Kachel nog niet nodig gehad alleen uitgeprobeerd en alles werkt prima. Snelgeleverd en goed verpakt, ziet er uit als nieuw dus zeker een aanrader (refurbished). Bediening is ook zeer eenvoudig dus laat de winter maar komen ik zit er warm bij zonder een hoge gasrekening.
Erg goed product! Een aantrekkelijke korting op de refurbished variant maar zeer netjes geleverd en niet te onderscheiden van nieuw, wat mij betreft dus een dikke aanrader.
Verder een fijne kachel en een mooi design, vanwege het verticale model neemt hij weinig ruimte in beslag en ziet er ook nog eens netjes uit.
Verwarmen doet hij erg goed en op de lichte stand is het geluid laag, op de hogere stand maakt hij wel aanzienlijk wat geluid maar dan verwarmt hij ook extra goed. Tot nu toe voldoet de lagere stand prima voor het verwarmen van 3 a 4 graden van de woonkamer.
Wij zijn dus super tevreden!
Heel fijn product, houdt het hier de gehele dag zeer aangenaam nadat de cv de ruimte heeft opgewarmd (ca 45m3), geluid is op de hoge stand niet heel storend, op de zachte stand zelfs aangenaam. Zat er al zeker een jaar over te dubben deze aan te schaffen, ontzettend blij dat ik het heb gedaan!
