The versatile Clean Air Optima® CA-703B electronic dehumidifier with powerful air purification is compact, low-noise and highly effective. Use at temperatures between 15°C-32°C and relative humidity above 40%. The automatic programme enables it to be used in rooms without direct supervision. by thermoelectric Peltier element

In terms of its effect, a Peltier element is the reverse of a thermocouple: with the thermocouple, a temperature difference across a transition between different metals generates an electrical voltage.

The Peltier element in the Clean Air Optima® dehumidifier CA-703B is an electrical component used to transfer heat from a cold to a warm location. A number of Peltier units connected in series can be practically applied as a cooling (or heating) element and cause moisture to condense. This replicates heat pump operation without moving parts or fluids. The Clean Air Optima® CA-703B dehumidifier is very low-maintenance and vibration-free as a result, due to the absence of a compressor!

Effective indoor air dehumidification
and purification in six steps

1. Intake of humid and contaminated indoor air by the low-noise, ball-bearing-equipped high-performance fan.
2. Peltier elements through which moist air is passed. Moisture condenses and is collected in the 2-litre tank.
3. Ioniser with capacity >3,000,000 negative ions/cm³ purifies and refreshes indoor air.
4. UV LED (ultraviolet) light eliminates bacteria, fungi, mould spores and viruses.
5. The photocatalytic filter and UV LED are capable of removing unpleasant odours and eliminate bacteria and viruses.
6. Antibacterial material incorporated into the lightweight casing. Clean, healthy breathing air flows into the indoor space.

Allergy prevention and reduction

The Clean Air Optima CA-703 electronic dehumidifier reduces the relative humidity in indoor spaces. Dust mites, other vermin and mould spores thrive best in a humid environment. The main triggers of allergy symptoms are dust mites and mould. Combined with the powerful air purification provided by the CA-703B triple filter technology, using this unique unit has a direct impact on preventing and reducing allergies.

Large water tank and permanent water drainage

The unit switches off automatically once the water tank is full with an LED indication in the display. The CA-703B dehumidifier's large water tank has a capacity of 2 litres.

Condensation collected in the water tank can also be discharged directly by connecting the drain hose included in the supply. This means that the CA-703B dehumidifier is suitable for continuous operation and unattended use.

With the additional 12-volt in-car adapter included, the easily deployable Clean Air Optima CA-703B dehumidifier is also suitable for use in a car, truck, bus, commercial vehicle, caravan, mobile home, boat, etc.

Usage and maintenance

Maintenance

With continuous use (24 hours/day) and under normal conditions, we recommend removing the accumulated dust from the air inlet and exhaust sides and the inside of the unit once a week. Wipe the outside regularly with a damp cloth.

If the dehumidifier is not in use for a longer period of time, we recommend cleaning the unit thoroughly beforehand and leaving all parts in contact with moisture to dry thoroughly. The unit needs to be stored in a cool and dry area.
